Marching Orders for Christian Men

Preface

Today I am starting a series of posts in book form that will put “legs and feet” to the call for men that God has placed on my heart. The primary theme is: Jesus is LORD.

I believe these posts will bring hope, purpose, clarity, and direction to what we men should be about in this hour. An hour where the Body of Christ and Christian men are under attack from all sides. From the womb to the grave there is, and has been, a relentless attack on God’s plan and purpose for men in this world; where emasculation has been going on, unchecked, for decades; where the enemy has been at work in every phase of our society; where men have begun to question they’re very reason for existence.

Who am I to present these solutions? A nobody except a sinner saved by grace. By the world’s standards I have led an unremarkable life: no great accomplishments, credentials or endorsements. But by the grace and mercy of God, and the love and prayers of my mother and wife Renee (and others), I have been led to this place.

By worldly standards, I am a high school and college graduate; an army helicopter veteran who served in Vietnam; have worked for a number of prestigious companies over the years; been married twice; have three children, two stepchildren, and 11 grandchildren. However, I did not realize the substance and significance of my life until I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior about 35 years ago. I have been a seeker of Him ever since.

I believe the Lord is going to breathe new life into men. That dry bones will come alive. That there will be fresh fire in our churches.

So, in the following messages, I will present the message(s), as shown to me by God, for your review, examination, acceptance, and appropriation… if indeed God quickens these words in your spirit. I make no apologies, for I cannot but say what God has shown to me. And I pray the Lord will reveal His truth to you as well. If you have any questions or uncertainty, I encourage you to search the scriptures for yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. We all have a choice, to believe God and the Bible or not. As for me, I humbly submit to my King, Lord, Savior, Creator and Redeemer. He is alive.
