Please allow me to take a short detour from the blog pathway I have been going down. It has occurred to me that the blog seems a little self-centered. If so I apologize. I am only trying to relate how God has been leading me. But I want to say clearly and right up front, that Jesus is My Lord and Savior. I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. And it is only the Triune God, the creator of heaven and earth, that I seek to glorify. He has blessed me with experiences that have enriched my life… through my mother, my wife Renee, and others. It is my hope and prayer that this blog will glorify Jesus through all that is said and presented.
In my daily devotions this morning, A. W. Tozer said this: “I believe that the reverential fear of God, mixed with love and fascination and astonishment and adoration, is the most enjoyable state and the most purifying emotion the human soul can know.” May you find those qualities within these blog posts. And may God be glorified.
