Summoned By Jesus

About 4-6 weeks after Renee passed, the Lord again spoke to me in a way that frustrated and irritated me. The Spirit said “she had to go (be with Jesus) so I could grow.”

I was quite agitated. I said aloud “what do you mean ‘go’? I didn’t want her to go.” It was confusing to me, but about 90 minutes later Lauren, Renee’s daughter, my stepdaughter, came by…checking on me to make sure I was ok. I shared what the Holy Spirit had told me. (She, like Renee, has a strong inner spiritual sense.) She wasn’t the least bit frustrated or concerned, and said “I can see that…” That calmed my emotions and I settled in to seek & learn what the Holy Spirit was truly saying.

(As I was to learn later, the Lord was taking Renee’s ‘word’, which He had been crafting in her, and was now crafting it in me. He was about to take me down a path which Renee could not or would not have traveled. But the legacy of who the Lord had fashioned her to be, her deep spiritual sense and lovingkindness, would be embodied in the “call” which was coming in the next few months.)
